Retrograde 1 draws on rich chocolate browns, burgundies and warm autumn tones to evoke a deeper, nostalgic retro feel. The lined composition sits beneath layers of textured dots, creating movement and depth within a more grounded palette. Like its counterpart, it marks a fresh expression in my work—intimate in scale, highly textural, and designed to be displayed in either orientation.
