This vibrant, textural artwork was originally created for The Pixel, a standout sculpture featured at the 2023 SWELL Sculpture Festival. From the outside, The Pixel appeared as a black aluminium cube – but inside, it revealed a world of colour. The sculpture went on to win the After Dark Award and became a festival highlight.
Yellow Pixel is the only remaining artwork from inside the installation. With radiant sunset tones of yellow, mustard, and orange, layered with palette knives for rich texture, it’s bold, bright, and full of energy. This is a rare chance to own a one-of-a-kind piece of SWELL history.
