Red Dawn

Red Dawn is unique and a little unusual. This piece is inspired by my previous Silence In Colour solo exhibition. Influences of colour theory and the Impressionists’ manipulation of colour is prominent in this artwork.
 
Contrasting borders and the horizontal panels play with how we see each colour, shifting our emotional experience upon viewing the pieces. Texture is created not by blending colours but by carefully choosing which to place next to another to change how they are recognised.
